Sale of Dolphins gets NFL approval

The NFL's 32 teams needed to first discuss the transfer before it could become official, but Ross' wealth and solid background were expected to make it an easy process. The vote was unanimous. Huizenga's decision was first announced in late February. Huizenga will remain the team's general partner for now -- until he eventually sells the remaining 50 percent of the team to Ross.
